The War Game

The War Game (doslovno Ratna igra) je britanski televizijski igrano-dokumentarni film iz 1965. godine na temu nuklearnog rata. Scenarist i režiser Peter Watkins je u njemu nastojao na što vjerodostojniji način pokazati posljedice eventualnog sovjetskog nuklearnog napada na Veliku Britaniju. Film se originalno trebao prikazati na programu BBC One kao dio dramske antologije The Wednesday Play, ali je skinut s programa nakon što je uprava BBC-ja pod pritiskom vlade objavila da su prizori "suviše uznemirujući" za televizijsku publiku. Film je umjesto toga ušao u kino-distribuciju te osvojio Oscar za najbolji dokumentarni film.
Na BBC-ju je prikazan tek 20 godina kasnije. Tada je već poslužio kao inspiracija za igrane filmove slične tematike - američki The Day After i britanski Threads.
