Sydney Alvin Field (19. decembar 1935 - 17. novembar 2013) bio je američki scenarist i filmski teoretičar, najpoznatiji po knjizi Screenplay: The Foundtaion of Screenwriting iz 1979. godine, priručnika za pisanje filmskih scenarija koja je stekla status jedne od najpopularnijih i najuticajnijih knjiga u historiji Hollywooda.
