Robert Hamer

Robert James Hamer (Kidderminster, Worcestershire, 31. mart 1911 – London, 4. decembar 1963) bio je britanski filmski režiser i scenarist, najpoznatiji po ealinškim komedijama, među kojima se ističe Kind Hearts and Coronets. Hamerov privatni život je obilježila homoseksualnost, ali još više alkoholizam, te je zbog ispada u delirium tremensu otpušten sa seta svog posljednjeg filma School for Scoundrels 1960. godine. Tri godine kasnije je umro od upale pluća, te se smatra jednom od najtragičnijih ličnosti britanske kinematografije sredine 20. vijeka.
