Herbert David Ross (13.5. 1927. – 9.10. 2001.) bio je američki glumac, koreograf, režiser i producent aktivan kako na pozorištu tako i u filmu. Značajniji iflmovi koje je režirao su The Sunshine Boys (1975), The Goodbye Girl, Pennies from Heaven (1981), Footloose (1984) i Steel Magnolias (1989), dok je za The Turning Point nominiran za Oscar za najbolju režiju te dobio nagradu Zlatni globus za najbolju režiju.
