Jazz Party est un album enregistré en 1959 par Duke Ellington et son orchestre auquel s'étaient joints quelques invités de marque : Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Rushing (ex vocaliste de Count Basie), Jimmy Jones (en) ainsi que 9 percussionnistes. Initialement publié sous le titre Duke Ellington : Jazz Party in Stereo, il fut réédité en 1997 au format Compact Disc sous le label Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (en), également dans la série "CBS Jazz Masterpieces".

Enregistrement réalisé dans le célèbre studio Columbia de la 30e rue, à New-York. (Ref. BIEM/STEMRA / CBS 460059 2). Malgré l'ajout de faux applaudissements dans la version initialement publiée en microsillon, il s'agit bien d'un album studio.
