Dressed to Kill Kiss hard rock talde amerikarraren estudioko 3. albuma da. Album paregabea da Casablanca Records diskoetxeko Neil Bogart presidenteak ekoiztu zuelako, garai hartako egoera ekonomikoak ekoizle profesional bat kontratatzen uzten ez zuelako.[8]
"C'mon and Love Me" eta "Rock and Roll All Nite" single moduan argitaratu zituzten. Ez zuten zerrendetako oso postu alturik lortu, urte berean "Rock and Roll All Nite" abestiaren zuzeneko bertsioaren singlea kaleratu zuten arte, zuzeneko Alive! album doblean, eta 12. postua lortu zuen single zerrendetan.[9]
Albuman 1997an berargitaratua izan zen (Kissen hasierako album gehienak bezala) bertsio erremasterizatuan.[10] Albumaren iraupen laburra dela eta, jatorrizko biniloko bertsioak abestien artean etenune luzegoak zituen, biniloaren aldeak benetan zirena baino luzeagoak zirela emateko. Alde bakoitzak hamabost minutu baino ez du irauten, eta biniloko bertsioan hainbat abestiren iraupena oker zeuden. Adibidez, "Two Timer" 2:59 iraupenarekin zegoen eta "Ladies in Waiting" 2:47 iraupenarekin.
32. postua lortu zuen AEBetako zerrendetan[11] eta Urrezko kalifikazioa lortu zuen RIAAren eskutik 1977ko otsailaren 28an.[12]
Nahiz eta albumeko azalean Kisseko taldekideak negozio jantziekin agertu, horrelako bat zuen taldeko kide bakarra Peter Criss zen. Beste taldekideek zeramaten jantziak Bill Aucoin managerrarenak ziren.[8]
"Rock and Roll All Nite" kontzertuetako oinarrizko abestia den bitartean (askotan kontzertua bukatzeko jotzen dute), album honetako beste abesti batzuk daude oraindik jotzen dituztenak, hala nola, "She", "Rock Bottom" eta batzuetan, "C'mon and Love Me".
