Elaine Stritch (Detroit, Míchigan, Estados Unidos, 2 de febrero de 1925 - 17 de julio de 2014) fue una cantante y actriz estadounidense, particularmente famosa en el teatro de Broadway y por sus incursiones en televisión donde fue premiada en repetidas oportunidades.

Cuatro veces nominada al Premio Tony y ganadora de un Premio Emmy, fue una de las figuras claves del musical estadounidense de los años 60-80.

Se formó en Nueva York en La Nueva Escuela con Erwin Piscator.

Falleció a los 89 años en su hogar.^[1]​
