Sheykh Musa Rural District (Persian: دهستان شيخ موسي) is in the Central District of Aqqala County, Golestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Geri Doveji.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 12,909 in 2,621 households.[5] There were 14,515 inhabitants in 3,757 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 15,651 in 4,203 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Geri Doveji, with 2,826 people.[2]
