It is maintaining its MPSF membership in swimming & diving. UC San Diego will join the Big West in swimming when that conference adds men's and women's swimming & diving in 2024.

- ^ The University of St. Thomas, which was expelled from the MIAC at the end of the 2020–21 school year, joined the Summit League starting in the 2021–22 season. St. Thomas has received an NCAA waiver allowing it to move directly from Division III to Division I on a five-year schedule, instead of the four years used for transitions from Division II to Division I, thereby becoming a full D-I member in 2026–27.
