Karindara

Karindara is a small village in the Martung tehsil of Shangla District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Karindara's history dates back to 1905 when Salarzai tribes migrated from Jawor district, Buner.^{[citation needed]} It has a population of over 7,000.^{[citation needed]} Situated approximately 5 km from Martung Bazar, 110 km from Mingora, 65 km from Alpurai, and 375 km from Islamabad, its strategic location enhances its connectivity.^{[original research?]}^[tone]

In terms of education, the literacy rate is approximately 73%, being notably lower among females due to the absence of girls' schools in the area. However, efforts are underway to address this gap.^{[original research?]}
